Achnagairn House, Morag & Akash
Morag & Akash married at Achnagairn House on a frosty day in December. Guests came from all over the world to see Morag & Akash exchange vows with the ceremony conducted by Mr Scott Russell. Readings to the couple came from friends, Narendra, Katherine and Louise and to complete the ceremony Jon and Polly sang a lovely duet.
Piped down the aisle Morag & Akash then had their photographs taken by John Baikie in the stunning grounds of Achnagairn House.
Cultures collided with a show of fashion from the Highlands of Scotland to Kuala Lumpar but there was no clan warfare at this wedding, although the Best Man did his best to take Akash to task !
Akash & Morag then danced their first dance with music chosen by Morag. Fortunately the eighties tracks that Akash used to sing to were kept for another time!

Jenna & Callum married at the Church of Scotland, Brora and apart from the congregation in the church a sizable crowd gathered outside of the church to witness Jenna arriving. Rev Michael MacDonald performed the marriage ceremony and after Jenna & Callum exchanged rings Rev MacDonald let the congregation know that Jenna’s Grandparents were also celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary !
The crowed outside braved the cold Brora wind and were not disappointed when Jenna & Callum walked outside as Mr & Mrs! Steven Seymour organised the photo-shoot both at the church and then at the Royal Marine Hotel where the speeches were to take place.
One of the chefs attempted to sing to the audience after the speeches and after some dreadful singing the crowd were then in for the surprise of their lives with some of the most incredible performances by the waiter and a chef !
The evening closed with a word from one of Jenna’s uncles before the now married couple took to the dance floor or their first dance.

Kayleigh arrived in style in a Beauford Classic at the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness and was led down the aisle by her bridesmaid, page boys & flower girls and she was given away by her Uncle Robert. Registrar Margaret Anderson started the cermony but unfortunatley the rain started and not wanting to ruin the bride’s dress the registrar suggested they move inside – the Best Man was heard to mutter that his hair may also get wet !
